Academic Scholarships

Our scholarship program is committed to rewarding excellence and improving access to college. UTA's merit based scholarships are available to incoming freshmen and transfer students. Merit based scholarships are only available at the start of the incoming fall semester.

UTA participates in federal and state financial aid programs that offer a variety of aid types from grants to student loans. You will need to qualify for federal student aid and submit a FAFSA in order to apply for aid.

Scholarships, fellowships, research assistants, or teaching assistants

UTA offers scholarships, fellowships, graduate research assistant positions, and graduate teaching assistant positions, but availability will depend on your degree program and academic department. Each academic department sets its own requirements for scholarships, fellowships, and assistantships. Contact your graduate advisor to determine what options are offered in your academic department.
